KUALA LUMPUR:
The performance of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government is “less than 30%” as it has failed to fulfil 10 promises within the 100-day deadline, PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said.

Giving PH a “D” score, he said the coalition needed to retake the “examination”.

“The committee which drafted the manifesto must take responsibility, as they failed to study thoroughly whether the promises could be fulfilled before drafting the manifesto.

“I’m only giving them a grade of 27% to 30% out of a 100% and if PH was sitting for an examination, they would have to repeat the paper,” he said at the Parliament lobby today.

The Kubang Kerian MP added that the PH government was aggravating the country’s already bad situation as it was prioritising initiatives which were not appealing to the people.

He cited examples such as the proposal for a third national car project and having the Formula 1 Grand Prix race in Malaysia again.

On the coming by-elections in Balakong and Seri Setia, Tuan Ibrahim said voters would be aware of the shortcomings of the PH government.

“The people are in a mood to dispute the extent of the government’s commitment in fulfilling the other promises. Coincidentally the 100-day period falls on the same day as nomination day for the Balakong and Seri Setia by-elections – Aug 18,” he said.
