
He said the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) was now in the final stages of studying the details.

Loke said this when replying to a supplementary question from Takiyuddin Hassan (PAS-Kota Bahru) on whether a ceiling price for air tickets during the festive season could be implemented.
Earlier, when replying to the original question from Alice Lau Kiong Yieng (PH-Lanang) on the price of MASwings domestic air tickets in Sarawak, Loke said the price would be fixed without imposing other charges like the fuel surcharge.
“The ceiling price will be reviewed more frequently.
“This is based on the joint agreement involving the transport ministry, Mavcom and MASwings,” he said.
