The training provider, P Ganes, in his report accused a member of the HRDF board of directors of abusing his power.
“The member of the board of directors channelled millions of ringgit of HRDF funds to his company.
“The information is available to the public on the HRDF website,” he said after lodging his report with MACC.
At this point, however, the individual named by Ganes in his report, R A Thiagaraja, appeared and a heated exchange occurred between the two.
“You have made an accusation against me, so I should be here,” Thiagaraja shouted at Ganes.
Thiagaraja also challenged Ganes to prove that he had abused his power to gain RM300 million as alleged.
“Show them (MACC) the proof, I never took the money,” he said, and warned that he would sue Ganes.
