
PETALING JAYA: Telekom Malaysia has appointed deputy group CEO Bazlan Osman as acting CEO following the resignation of Mohammed Shazalli Ramly, news agency Telecompaper reports.
According to the report, Bazlan’s appointment is effective immediately.
Shazalli, who was previously Axiata Group Bhd’s regional CEO for its Southeast Asia operations, joined Telekom Malaysia last year.
Yesterday, Bloomberg reported that he had resigned, citing people with knowledge of the matter. It quoted the people as saying that Shazalli’s resignation could be announced within the next few days.
