Pakatan Harapan president Wan Azizah says Malaysians have high expectations.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Pakatan Harapan leaders and the people have been reminded to continuously address weaknesses in the country’s administration in order to make the coalition’s victory in the recently concluded general election more meaningful, says Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Wan Azizah, president of PKR and Pakatan, said the nation needed to be rebuilt and Malaysians had the right and responsibility to be a part of it.

“We have changed the government and expectations are very high,” she said during a Santai Sahur session in her constituency of Pandan yesterday.

She also spoke about the roles of the younger generation as the future leaders.

Citing football as an example, Wan Azizah – who is also women and family development minister – said the people should know how sports focussed on the importance of team spirit, and how it could help create awareness.

Just as in a football match, there would be winners and losers, she said.

“Be gracious whether you win or lose.”
