It comes after an eventful 12-day period following Pakatan Harapan's polls victory.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has sworn in ministers to fill up 14 Cabinet posts, 12 days after Pakatan Harapan’s victory at the May 9 polls.

The swearing-in ceremony comes after an eventful post-election period that has seen police swooping in on private properties linked to former prime minister Najib Razak, shocking Malaysians with the seizure of luxury items worth millions of ringgit.

The ceremony today confirms the appointment of 14 more posts, following Mahathir’s own appointment on May 10:

Deputy Prime Minister and Women and Family Development: Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail

Home: Muhyiddin Yassin

Finance: Lim Guan Eng

Defence: Mohamad Sabu

Education: Maszlee Malik

Rural Development: Rina Harun

Economic Affairs: Mohamed Azmin Ali

Housing and Local Government: Zuraida Kamaruddin

Transport: Anthony Loke

Communications and Multimedia: Gobind Singh Deo

Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry: Salahuddin Ayub

Human Resource: M Kulasegaran

Health: Dzulkefly Ahmad
