Her statement was issued as her husband, Najib Razak, complained that policemen had helped themselves to food and chocolates from the refrigerator at the home of one of their children.
Rosmah’s lawyers also issued a statement, her first public reaction since authorities began investigating Najib in connection with money laundering and corruption allegations.
Rosmah was particularly critical about details of the items allegedly confiscated being published on social media.

In a statement issued today by her lawyers, she urged the authorities “to avoid a premature public trial”. Enforcement agencies she said should not be feeding social media “trolls” but should observe strict professionalism.
Rosmah said that her family would facilitate any investigation despite the trying times.
On Friday police confiscated 284 handbags, some bearing the Hermes-Birkin brand, and 72 pieces of luggage containing cash and jewellery in an operation at three luxury apartments in Bukit Bintang.

The investigations are being conducted by the commercial crime unit and anti-money laundering unit of the federal police headquarters, and are linked to the alleged embezzlement of billions of ringgit from the government-owned 1Malaysia Development Berhad.
