PETALING JAYA:
Police are conducting a search to seize valuables and documents in relation to 1MDB at the Langgak Duta private residence of former prime minister Najib Razak, a source said.

The source said police arrived in several cars and a Black Maria truck at about 10pm but only started the search an hour later after the arrival of lawyer Harpal Singh Grewal, who is representing Najib.

“The search was conducted under the Anti-Money Laundering Act,” the source told FMT.

The source said it was unlikely there would be any arrests tonight.

Newsmen had gathered at the residence after seeing police vehicles converging there.
