They will replace a number of old faces dropped from the recently-concluded general election.
Chow said this included his previous portfolio of local government, flood mitigation and traffic management, which was left vacant when he was appointed CM.
Chow also said there will be a “balance” of state executive councillors from the island and mainland.
“We hope to form the government and Cabinet proper this Wednesday.

“I will be briefed by the state secretary, the chief minister’s office chief of staff and secretaries of the previous state exco members.
“We will then decide,” he said at a press conference in Komtar today.
Chow was sworn in as Penang’s fifth chief minister this morning before the governor.
Chow, 60, has been Penang DAP chief since 1999 and has remained undefeated in his party post.
Chow, a former journalist, began his political career with a three-term stint as Tanjong MP, from 1999 to 2008. He was previously political secretary to DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang.
He has also held the Padang Kota state seat for two terms since 2008, following two unsuccessful attempts in the 1999 and 2004 general elections.
In last week’s polls, he retained Padang Kota and won the Tanjong parliamentary seat again after a one-term gap in 2013.
