
Aminuddin promised to carry out his responsibility to administer the state by ensuring a “transparent and open administration for the prosperity of the people in the state”.
He called for the total support of all parties to achieve this ambition, particularly from the political and community leaders and civil servants.
Present at the ceremony this morning were the Tunku Ampuan Besar, Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud; the Putera Yang Empat Tunku Besar Seri Menanti, Tunku Ali Redhauddin Ibni Tuanku Muhriz; and the Tunku Panglima Besar, Tunku Nadzaruddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Jaafar.
Also present were the Undang Luak Johol Datuk Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Setiawan Datuk Muhammed Abdullah; Undang Luak Sungai Ujong Datuk Klana Petra Datuk Mubarak Dohak; and Undang Luak Rembau Datuk Lela Maharaja Datuk Muhamad Sharip Othman.
Aminuddin was born on Jan 2, 1967 in Kampung Panchitan, Port Dickson. He is married to Wan Hasni Wan Yusof, 48, and the couple have five children, three boys and two girls.
Aminuddin, a member of the Negeri Sembilan PKR executive committee, was re-elected to a third term as Sikamat assemblyman at the general election on Wednesday.
He received his early education at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tanah Merah, Port Dickson, and later pursued business studies at Institut Teknologi Mara (now UiTM).
He has previously worked at the Anti-Corruption Agency in Penang and Selangor, was production planning head at Golden Hope Furniture Sdn Bhd, and held various positions with MCIS Safety Glass (M) Sdn Bhd.
He was with Umno and joined PKR in 1999.
