
But the former minister said she would not offer herself to contest in any seats.
“For me, my main task and responsibility is to ensure the Wanita Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery is ready, because this is my top priority.
“Not being a candidate is not my priority, even though we regularly hold discussions with the prime minister. What’s important is that we can deliver a strong and effective machinery that brings a huge victory to BN,” she said.
She was speaking to reporters after attending prayers for former Wanita Umno permanent chairman Napsiah Omar at Ar-Rahman Surau, Putra World Trade Centre here today.
Napsiah died on Monday following a battle with liver cancer.
