Radhi, also known as “Captain Marvel”, will contest against incumbent Mahfuz Omar, who won the seat in the last polls under the PAS ticket.
Mahfuz left PAS late last year to join Amanah.
At an event yesterday, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang also announced newcomer Muhamad Riduan Mohd Othman as the candidate for the Kuala Kedah parliamentary seat.
The 43-year-old pharmacist will go against incumbent Dr Azman Ismail, who is also Kedah PKR chairman.
Meanwhile, Kedah PAS chief Ahmad Fakhrudin Sheikh Fakhrurrazi will stand in the Pengkalan Kundur state seat, to take on Amanah’s Pahrolrazi Zawawi.
