JOHOR BAHRU:
Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today urged the people to reject “political nomads” and vote for those who are committed to championing the cause of the people and their welfare.

He said the people had had enough of dealing with the repercussions created by such leaders who only came once every five years.

“How can anyone be chosen out of anger, frustration and anti-establishment sentiment? Eventually, we (the people) will have to accept the consequences of the wrong selection made.

“These political nomads must be rejected. Choose instead committed candidates,” he said here today.

According to Zahid, who is acting Umno deputy president, the decision to field such individuals was aimed at sowing hatred among the people.
