KUALA LUMPUR:
Police have ruled out any criminal element in the abduction of two siblings from a kindergarten in Section 16, Petaling Jaya, last Thursday.

Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said Raheel Khan Mohd Saleem, six, and Aleya Reyhana, four, were in fact taken away by their biological mother as a result of an alleged marital dispute.

“We urge the mother of the children to come forward to clarify the matter and refer her domestic dispute to the relevant authorities,” he told reporters yesterday.

He also urged the public to cease speculating on the case for the benefit of the children.
