“I do not know whether the coming general election is going to be my last battle or whether I should even take part in it.

Lim had a fall in the toilet at his Gelang Patah home on March 1.
On Dec 19, Lim underwent surgery to remove a small tumour in his left kidney.
The tumour was discovered during a medical check-up, he said.
Biopsy tests on the small tumour disclosed that it was a Stage 1(a) cancer, the lowest grade cancer possible.
Lim trumped Umno candidate and former Johor menteri besar Abdul Ghani Othman in GE13, wresting the Gelang Patah seat with a 14,762-vote majority.
