Class 1 vehicles are those with two axles and three or four wheels, excluding taxies.

The concessionaire, IJM Corporation Berhad said the discount would take effect from 12.01am until midnight today.

In a statement today, IJM toll division chief Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff said discounts were offered for every festive season as an initiative to show appreciation, while reducing the burden of motorists.

“For a more comfortable journey, Lekas motorists who are travelling southward or eastward should use Besraya via the Loke Yew Toll Plaza to get to the Middle Ring Road 2,” she said, adding that the management would also distribute mandarin oranges and mineral water at all Lekas exit routes on Feb 21.

Wan Salwani said the management had also organised a ‘Big Spender @ Lekas – Travel to win Angpow’ campaign, offering cash ‘angpow’ to its loyal motorists.

To be in the running for the angpow totalling RM1,480, Class 1 motorists are required to carry out as many transactions at Lekas tolls throughout February until March 5.
