
In a Facebook posting today, it said it had received much feedback on the matter after the image went viral on social media.
The message on the bunting below the logo of Malaysia Airports had read “Wishing you a Mary Christmas & Happy New Years”.
MAHB said the mistake was made only in that particular airport and not in other airports under its jurisdiction.
“We immediately removed the bunting upon discovering the error last night,” it said.
“We wish to assure you that this does not involve any other airports,” it added.
“Thank you for your concern in highlighting the matter to us. We extend our apologies, and wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,” it said, spelling the season’s greeting correctly.
