On Jan 31, Mara suspended Annuar to enable the internal audit to investigate the PMB and Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) over sponsorship for the Kelantan football team.
On Feb 3, Annuar provided information to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in relation to allegations of misappropriation and abuse of power as chairman of Mara.
Meanwhile, MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Azam Baki said the MACC had completed the investigation on the PMB and UniKL sponsorship for the Kelantan football team.
“The investigation paper has been completed and submitted to the deputy public prosecutor. There has been no decision yet,” he added.
