
The application for the remand of the officer, who is a former district police chief, and the two women was submitted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at the Ipoh Court Complex here.
Assistant Registrar Puteri Nordina Kamalaudin allowed the three individuals to be remanded for five days, beginning today until Dec 12.
The former district police chief, handcuffed and wearing MACC lock-up attire, was taken to the court complex at about 10.45am by MACC officers.
