Speaking outside the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), the Red Shirts leader, armed with a sledgehammer and a cutout of Zaid, said people in Selangor had lost patience over the fact that no action was taken against the DAP politician.
“We will use this hammer to hammer his head.
“This is a stern warning. We in Selangor do not wish to see our rulers insulted,” he said.
Jamal said the country had laws which he respected.

On Wednesday, Jamal and his followers burnt two life-sized effigies of Zaid in front of the PWTC entrance.
He also held a press conference outside the Umno headquarters to hit out at Zaid over the former minister’s criticism of the Selangor Sultan on social media.
Zaid had taken to Twitter to “advise” the sultan, saying: “The Selangor sultan should be careful with his words. No one is immune when the country burns.”He was apparently referring to an interview the sultan gave The Star in which the ruler claimed PPBM chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s political agenda was motivated by “deep hatred” and that “his anger will burn the whole country”.
