KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said police will complete investigations into a video that implicates Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Dzulkifli Ahmad being in an illicit relationship.

Fuzi said police hope to complete the investigation within the week but declined to say if a statement had been taken from the MACC chief.

“I don’t want to comment on this as I have repeated the matter often,” Fuzi said, adding however, that the probe had covered all aspects of the allegations.

It was previously reported that the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) were not satisfied with the investigation papers on the case.

According to Deputy Home Minister Nur Jazlan, the investigation papers had been returned to the police on Oct 3, for them to complete their investigation into the case.

Fuzi was also asked if the identity of those who spread the video had been identified.

“That falls under forensics, so I cannot reveal it,” he said.
