Doan, 28, however did not get rid of the clothes and she also did not show any signs of anxiety when handing over the T-shirt with the word “LOL” and the skirt to the police two days after the incident.
Selangor police headquarters CID officer, Assistant Superintendent Nasrol Sain Hamzah, 38, concurred with counsel representing Doan, Hisyam Teh Poh Teik, that the clothes were also not hidden in the room at Sky Star Hotel, Sepang, where the accused was staying when police conducted the raid.
He was testifying on the 23rd day of the trial of Indonesian Siti Aisyah, 25, and Doan, who are charged with four others still at large with killing Jong Nam, 45, at the departure hall of klia2 at 9am on Feb 13.
The 24th prosecution witness also agreed with Hisham’s suggestion that his client had the opportunity to put the clothes into a plastic bag and discard them.
Hisyam: Were you aware that Doan was wearing a T shirt with “LOL” written on it until 5pm or 6pm on Feb 13 , the day Jong Nam was attacked?
Nasrol: I was not aware.
Hisyam: Is it true when you interviewed Doan she informed you that she came to Malaysia to shoot prank videos?
Nasrol: Yes
The witness also agreed with the counsel’s suggestion that the accused (Doan) was involved in the shooting of two prank videos on the day of the incident and two days later at klia2.
To a question from counsel Salim Bashir, who is also representing Doan, the witness said he was not sure if Doan had disposed of any of the items sought by the police.
