In a statement issued today, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) said the bridge would be closed from midnight until 10am, and re-opened after the marathon.
People who need to travel between the island and mainland are advised to use the ferry services, which will operate round the clock, or the Sultan Abdul Halim Mua’dzam Shah Bridge as an alternative route.
“The public is also advised to abide by all the signages and instructions from PLUS,” the statement said.
