Claiming that the video had been edited and was a fake, the DAP MP said he would also reserve the right to sue.
He was responding to a police report lodged against him by Perak BN youth who had accused Nga of insulting the menteri besar with racist remarks.
“I never said (the vulgar racist remark). It is ridiculous, it is a fake and edited video. It is clear, anyone who watches the video will know it is fake,” he told Malaysiakini.
The controversy stemmed from the BrandLaureate Nation Building Brand Icon Leadership Award that Zambry had received in late August.
In the video, Nga could be heard accusing Zambry of allegedly using public funds to secure the award.
He had apparently said this during a ceramah on Nov 16.
The video also showed footage of Nga allegedly making the vulgar racist remark.
Nga admitted to accusing Zambry of having paid for the award but stressed that he had not uttered the offensive words.
