
The price of RON95 petrol will increase to RM2.38 per litre from RM2.31 while the price of RON97 will go up to RM2.66 per litre from RM2.60 currently.
Diesel, meanwhile, will increase to RM2.25 per litre from the previous RM2.20.
These are the highest prices recorded since the weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect on March 29 this year.
The new prices will be effective from Nov 16 to Nov 22.
The announcement was made on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry’s Twitter account and website today.
Prices of petrol and diesel were placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
