
The passenger was sent to the Miri Hospital but later died there while undergoing treatment.
There had been no indication that the passenger, who is an amputee, was unwell before and at the start of the flight.
“The crew immediately informed the ground authority of the incident, who then alerted paramedics from Miri Hospital,” MASWings communication department staff Rozanah Robert told the daily when contacted.
She added that crew members found the passenger unconscious after flight MH3475 had landed around 2.10pm.
According to Rozanah, the passenger is a frequent MASwings flier.
Police confirmed the death, but did not identify the passenger.
