
He was responding to a report in Malaysiakini which quoted Teng as saying the state government would not hesitate to reveal such issues and other concerns pertaining to Khalid when he led the state, should he join the other side
“Teng should have done it earlier. Don’t resort to threats. They are of no use.
“We should not choose them because they are not sincere and not transparent. It reflects character. It is a weak character,” he said, referring to Teng and the current state leadership, at a press conference after attending a PAS fundraising event here today.
Teng was quoted as saying Pakatan Harapan was aware of Khalid’s style of governance and personal weaknesses during his tenure as Selangor menteri besar from 2008 to 2014.
On Teng saying that they had previously not gone to the extent of embarrassing him by revealing those weaknesses out of respect, Khalid questioned if Teng had no respect now.
“So now he has no respect because I am not in his gang?“ he asked.
