Dang Wangi district police chief ACP Mohd Sukri Kaman said a bomb disposal team was sent to the location following a call about the suspicious discovery.
“An inspection found that the box did not contain any explosives and was disposed of at 1.50am,” he told Bernama when contacted today.
Sukri said police were conducting further investigations to determine the identity of the individual responsible for placing the object at the spot.
