PUTRAJAYA:
Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad merely laughed off PAS’ declaration that a vote for the opposition coalition is actually a vote for DAP.

“Voting for PAS is the same as voting for BN too.”

Mahathir was speaking to reporters outside the Palace of Justice here today.

He was here to see his former nemesis, Anwar Ibrahim, testify at the royal commission of inquiry hearing on the losses suffered by Bank Negara Malaysia due to foreign exchange trading in the 1990s.

PAS Youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi yesterday declared that DAP would be the ultimate beneficiary of every vote cast for PH.

Khalil, the son of PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, also said DAP’s movements are shadowed by the Christian evangelist agenda which has the ambition of establishing a secular state.

“DAP’s actions also clearly show it wants to become the dominant party in Pakatan Harapan and chart the coalition’s direction.

“This exposes the reality that a vote for a party within PH would be a vote for DAP,” he was reported as saying.
