
Kedah police chief Asri Yusoff said, prior to that, police received information concerning an individual who was causing a disturbance in the shopping complex at 12.30am.
“A police multipurpose vehicle and several motorcycle patrol units went to the scene.
“After an inspection, they arrested a man wearing boxer shorts in the women’s toilet on the fourth floor of the shopping complex,” he said in a statement.
He said a further check on the man found an opaque packet containing crystals suspected to be syabu weighing 0.62 grammes while his urine test was positive for methamphetamine.
He said the case was being investigated under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
