Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), in a statement here today, said the disruption could not be avoided due to machinery replacement works at the Bukit Mahkota Tinggi water distribution plant.
He said 62 areas will be affected in Hulu Langat and among them are Beranang, Bandar Sri Putra, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kampung Bangi, and Bandar Bukit Mahkota.
Tiara South, Kampung Rinching Hilir, Taman Permai, Bangi Estate, Taman Angsana, Eco Majestic and Setia Ecohill in Semenyih will also be affected.
Consumers who will be affected are advised to store additional water during the period.
