PETALING JAYA: Nearly 99% of allegations hurled by the opposition against the prime minister’s wife Rosmah Mansor are untrue, says the prime minister’s special officer Rizal Mansor, Malaysiakini reported today.
Speaking after opening the Kelana Jaya Umno Youth divisional meeting here today, Rizal said among these allegations were that Rosmah controls her husband, Najib Razak and his administration and that she has an office in the Prime Minister’s office (PMO).
Rizal said the room was scrapped when Najib became PM but had existed when Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Abdullah Badawi were in office.
He said Rosmah had never stepped into the room as she didn’t like to go to the office.
He said Rosmah only went to the PMO when PMO staff threw a birthday party for Najib and when the PMO hosts an open house.
