KUALA LUMPUR: Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor today called Dr Mahathir Mohamad “out of line” for challenging Prime Minister Najib Razak to a debate at the “Nothing to Hide 2.0″ forum planned next month.

Tengku Adnan, who is popularly known as Ku Nan, said he also did not know what the Pakatan Harapan and PPBM chairman really wanted.

“Enough is enough. Why go on harassing the prime minister? The present government is being run by Datuk Seri Najib Razak in his own way.

“This country has no problems, this country is moving,” he said after attending a Raya open house at Dataran Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL).

Mahathir has challenged Najib to attend the “Nothing to Hide 2.0″ forum organised by PPBM Youth in Shah Alam on Aug 13 to answer the accusations and slander made against the two of them.

Tengku Adnan, who is the federal territories minister, said Mahathir was possibly disappointed that his son Mukhriz was not elected vice-president of Umno at the party’s last elections.
