
Azalina said she was disappointed because some people easily believed what had been alleged.
“When America said something happened, there was no examination made, and we become chaotic and believe the allegations,” she told reporters when asked on the issue after officiating the Legal Aid Convention here today.
According to Azalina, every country had its own legal system, including the US and Malaysia.
“To me, the DoJ is the American system. It’s up to that country. It is a civil matter.
“That country feels that this is something that it wants to evaluate. Someone has reported – that is the American way.
“That is their right, we have our own way.
“In our country, there is the parliamentary system, our court system, our attorney-general’s system.
“We already have everything. So we do things our way,” she said.
