He said the allowance for the 17,703 civil servants would involve a total sum of RM63.3 million.
“This is a token of appreciation to civil servants for their commitment and dedication in helping to develop Selangor. It is also based on the current financial performance,” he said when addressing a Ramadan gathering of civil servants here.
Mohamed Azmin also said that the Selangor government proposed to give another financial incentive to civil servants at the end of the year, but that it would depend on the performance of staff and their various departments.
