Salleh, who is also Umno treasurer, said this to Bernama when asked to comment on speculation of an impending change at the helm of Media Prima following Ismee’s recent appointment as an independent board member of the company, Malaysia’s largest media group.
Media Prima is a fully integrated media company with equity interests in television stations, newspapers, radio stations, content creation and digital media.
Television stations in which it has an interest are TV3, 8TV, ntv7 and TV9. Media Prima owns 98% of The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Bhd which publishes the New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro newspapers.
