Zulfarhan, 21, died at the Serdang Hospital at 10pm on Thursday with bruises and burn marks on his body, suspected to be the results of abuse.
His death is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Police remanded 36 Malaysian National Defence University and Universiti Tenaga Nasional students for seven days beginning yesterday to assist in the investigation.
