
The baby was found with a 3cm-long cut on his head and his umbilical cord still attached, Bernama reported yesterday.
According to The Star Online, State Women and Family Development, Communications and Multimedia Committee chairman Shahaniza Shamsuddin said that the boy was nevertheless blessed as he was found alive.
“Muhammad Ramadhan is healthy and only had a small injury on his head,” she said after visiting the baby at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah in Temerloh yesterday, the English daily said.
It is learnt that Ramadhan will be placed under the care of the Welfare Department.
