KUALA LUMPUR: A former general manager of a security services company pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here today to criminal breach of trust involving RM18,300, last year.
Norazlan M Ali, 48, was alleged to have committed the offence at Worldline Security Services office in Jalan Raja Alang, Kampung Baru, here between Nov 10 and 28 last year.
He was charged under Section 408 of the Penal Code which provides for a maximum jail term of 10 years, and also whipping and fine if convicted.
Earlier, deputy public prosecutor Kamarul Aris Kamaluddin offered bail at RM10,000 in one surety.
Judge Zulqarnain Hassan fixed bail at RM3,000 in one surety and set June 21 for hearing.
