Sungai Buloh police chief Supt S Somu said they were alerted by the victim’s father about the incident.
“The son had contacted him, claiming that he was attacked by a gang of at least 10 people,” Somu said today.
“The father went to the scene and found his son on the ground surrounded by a group of people,” he said.
He said the victim was beaten up and doused with hot water.
The victim was rushed to the Sungai Buloh Hospital where he is undergoing treatment and is in stable condition.
It is believed that the victim had suffered burns to his back, shoulders and neck, and also had injuries to his face and body.
