One of the investors from China said he represents 3,000 fellow China nationals who invested in the agriculture-cum-forex investment scheme founded by Alex Wong.
“I’m willing to give half of what I had invested as a reward if the (money-lending) company can find Wong and help me and other investors recover our money.
“We have not received the due payouts since last month,” the man was quoted as saying by the vernacular daily.
The group is looking for Wong, who is said to have started Richway Global Venture in May last year.
According to China Press, they alleged Wong had cheated them of RM12 million through Richway Global Venture.
The man, who has been in contact with the money-lending service online, said some of the investors were also considering coming to Malaysia to file police reports over the alleged cheating case.
However, he did not disclose how much he had invested in the scheme or his total losses.
