PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan is closing in on the selection of its logo but will leave it to the Malaysian public to choose the best one.

The coalition’s chief secretary, Saifuddin Abdullah, said today that PH had received 330 submissions for the logo.

They will narrow down the number to 10 within a week.

“We will select 10 logos and there will be public voting.

“The media team will announce the shortlisted logos within a week,” Saifuddin told reporters today.

He added that some had even submitted professional kits with flags and other campaign materials using the proposed logos.

Saifuddin said the people would be able to vote on their favourite logo at the official PH website.

On April 30, PKR leader Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail announced that the parties in PH had decided to contest seats under a common logo in the coming general election.

PH will be applying to the Registrar of Societies for its leadership line-up to be formally registered.
