He will also be involved in the development of the iconic Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Prime Minister Najib Razak said today.
“I have full confidence in him,” he said.
Arul Kanda has provided good leadership for the resolution of the rationalisation of 1MDB and “he will continue to be there”, Najib, who is also the finance minister, said.
He was speaking to Malaysian journalists at the end of the two-day Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation here today.
As far as Bandar Malaysia was concerned, Najib said, treasury secretary-general Irwan Serigar Abdullah would be in charge.
“But, Tan Sri Irwan will be in consultation with Arul Kanda with respect to the future development of Bandar Malaysia,” Najib said.
