PETALING JAYA: The case of blogger Abdul Muhaimin Mohd Muhayeddin, who was charged last year for uploading a doctored picture of Prime Minister Najib Razak behind prison bars, will start in July.
Sessions Court judge Syafeera Mohd Said fixed hearing from July 24 to 26, when the case came up for mention today at the Ampang Sessions Court.
Muhaimin was represented by Syed Iskandar Syed Jaafar.
Last year, Muhaimin claimed trial to the charge under Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) for posting the image on his Facebook account.
He is said to have committed the offence on Oct 20, 2015.
Other individuals who are also facing charges under Section 233(1)(a) are former law minister Zaid Ibrahim, designer Fahmi Reza, and former MyWatch chairman R Sri Sanjeevan.
