When contacted, Hasmiza, better known as Datuk Seri Vida, 46, confirmed the divorce and said she and her husband went to court this morning to attend the proceeding.
“All is done and we have divorced with the first pronouncement (talak satu),” she told Bernama here today.
When asked about the cause for their separation, Vida said her match with her husband was short-lived and the divorce had deeply affected her.
Vida married Fairuz, 39, in January 2014. It was her third marriage.
