PETALING JAYA: The battle of words between DAP’s veteran politician Lim Kit Siang and Umno strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan continues.

Rahman insisted again that “to save Malaysia from evil, LKS should resign and retire instead of killing politically potential leaders in DAP such as Tan Seng Giaw”.

(Tan had been ousted from DAP’s central executive committee in the 2012 party elections.)

In a series of tweets on his Twitter handle @mpkotabelud, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department today maintained that BN parties practised democracy while Lim “practises dictatorship which is evil”.

“It is very true LKS. Evil cannot triumph over good.

“That’s why LKS failed (in) many attempts to topple the BN government.”

He was responding to the DAP adviser’s blog post “Evil cannot triumph over good”.

Lim had said Rahman and his team had been spreading lies about him.

Lim said he at first thought it was an April Fool’s joke when he saw stories in the mainstream press that he was a dictator.

“Clearly, this was deadly serious business – part of a massive propaganda psy-war against me,” he said.

Rahman had claimed earlier that DAP leaders were afraid to tell the elder politician to resign and pave the way for new faces to lead the party.
