PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices for the week March 30 to April 5 are down all around, according to news reports.
RON95 will cost RM2.13; RON97 will sell at RM2.41; and diesel RM2.11 per litre from midnight.
This compares with RM2.30 for RON95, RM2.60 for RON97, and RM2.20 for diesel per litre this March.
Starting today, the petrol prices, determined by a managed float system, will be announced weekly on Wednesday instead of monthly.
Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM) president Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz was reported as saying on Monday that petrol station operators could either follow the fixed ceiling price under the new system, or offer lower fuel prices for a competitive edge with prior approval from the government.
