Local and foreign journalists, who had been parked there for days to gather news on the Feb 13 killing of North Korean Kim Jong Nam at the KL International Airport 2 (klia2) with nerve gas, quickly sprang into action.
The five vehicles, with 10 firemen, entered at 3.20pm.
Ten minutes later, policemen and firemen exited and parked their vehicles around three vehicles there — a white Suzuki Swift, a black Myvi and a red taxi.
Firemen, including a few wearing white and yellow safety suits, removed equipment from the Hazmat vehicle to do an inspection of the three vehicles.
Early on Sunday, Hazmat and Malaysia Atomic Energy Licensing Board (AELB) personnel had also conducted a similar operation to detect toxic chemicals at klia2.
