GEORGE TOWN: A “Datuk Seri” is among 22 individuals charged in the Sessions Court here today with being members of an organised crime group, Geng 24.

The charge was read out to them in Mandarin by an interpreter before judge Roslan Hamid.

The individuals were charged under Subsection 130V(1) of the Penal Code which carries a maximum 20 years’ imprisonment on conviction.
