
Sepang district police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Ali confirmed the matter when met by reporters at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, at 7.50pm today.
It is understood that the post-mortem on the man, identified by his passport as Kim Chol and who was attacked at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 on Monday, was completed at 7.30pm.
Aziz declined to reveal any details on the cause of death or when the remains would be claimed from the hospital.
Four vehicles from the North Korean Embassy in Malaysia were seen leaving the premises at 8pm.
